Hi! My name is Kevin McNamara (He/They). I was born and raised on the traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil Waututh Nations. I am an undergraduate finishing up my Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Victoria, located on the land of the lək̓ʷəŋən (Lekwungen) People of the Songhees and Xʷsepsum (Esquimalt) Nations.
With a BA in sociology and a minor in gender studies, I have acquired a wealth of knowledge relating to social structures, institutional inequalities, and intersectional justice, as well as the skills to implement my education practically. True social reform is possible, but it takes a sustained effort of skilled organizers working towards a mutually safe and fair society, and I intend to be a part of it.
